    Day 1 & 2 South Luangwa National Park

    Meet and greet Lusaka Airport
    Scheduled seat in plane transfer Lusaka Airport to Mfuwe Airport
    Road transfer Mfuwe Airport to Flatdogs Camp
    2 Nights at Flatdogs Camp, South Luangwa National Park, standard chalet (Fully inclusive of all meals, 2 scheduled activities a day, park entry fees, excludes drinks)

    Flatdogs Camp is situated just outside of the South Luangwa National Park in a riverside forest on the banks of the Luangwa River overlooking the park. The Luangwa national park is one of the most prolific and bountiful covering an area of 9000 kilometres² (3,475 square miles) of pristine wilderness in Zambia's Eastern Province.

    Three of the four chalets have a downstairs double room surrounded by a cool veranda and an upstairs twin room with a high thatched roof and views of the river. Both rooms have a couch which converts into an extra single bed when needed.

     

    Day 3,4 & 5 Kapamba River

    3 Nights walking safari or normal at the  Bushcamps, South Luangwa, standard chalet (Fully inclusive of all meals, local drinks, 2 scheduled activities a day, park entry fees, limited laundry)

    Kapamba Bush Camp is situated in a prime location on the picturesque Kapamba River; the lodge offers the chance to enjoy this untouched corner of the South Luangwa National Park in luxurious surroundings.

    Remote, charming and touched with a hint of romance, Kapamba’s four en-suite chalets redefine the standards for luxury in the bush. Unencumbered by a fourth wall, each chalet is open fronted affording guests sweeping views of the Kapamba River. As a turn down service, the camp staff tucks in every guest each night by drawing close the beautiful wrought iron gates that span the front of each chalet. The spider web effect of the iron gates offer guests protection from any unwanted night visitors and serve as a stunning backdrop against the expansive African sky.
    Kapamba boasts the most intimate game viewing setting in the park; guests can relax and unwind while watching wildlife from the privacy of their spacious sunken baths. Combine this luxurious experience with a refreshing beverage and guests describe the unique experience as absolute perfection.

    Day 6 Lower Zambezi

Common animals sighted all year round from Kiambi Lower Zambezi are elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile. Further down the river within the Lower Zambezi National Park, lion and hyena are regularly sighted. Leopard and wild dog are not uncommon.

     

    Day 7 & 8 Lower Zambezi

    2 Nights canoe safari with Kiambi Camp, Lower Zambezi/Chiawa Game Management Area, (includes all meals, camping equipment, water and cordials)

     

    Canoe Safari - Day 1:

    Breakfast at Kiambi is at 07h30 and then you meet your canoeing guide.  Your canoe guide will then give you a brief rundown of the canoeing days, dangerous animals, safety measures while on the river and at the campsites, and techniques on canoeing.

    Departure is from the jetty at Kiambi and proceed down river.
    A stop is made for tea time
    Stop for lunch
    After lunch continue down river
    In the late afternoon stop at the campsite at Buffalo Beans on an island.
    Tents, bedrolls, wash up facilities, a drop toilet, and a bucket shower facility are all set up.
    Dinner, bore hole drinking water and juice are always provided.
    Overnight: Buffalo Beans Island Campsite – all meals included

     

    Canoe Safari - Day 2:
    Breakfast is enjoyed cooked over the fire.
    Depart again on canoe downriver.
    Stop to visit a local village on the banks of the Zambezi. Here you can visit the school, the shops and view the local way of life.
    Continue to canoe into the Mana Pools area
    A stop is made for tea
    Stop for lunch and then continue downriver
    Arrive at the campsite, and overnight
    Overnight at Mvuu Campsite – all meals included

     

    Day 9 & 10 Victoria Falls

    2 nights     WATERBERRY LODGE, Livingstone –Victoria Falls
    Waterberry Lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River about 22 km from Livingstone towards Kazungula.

    The main double-storey lodge area overlooks the Zambezi River and the game park beyond.  Upstairs the main lounge is open to the high thatch with plenty of seating, a well-stocked bar and magnificent views.   Meals are served in the dining area or alfresco, on the sun terrace, overlooking the river.
    A floating pontoon gently sways on the Zambezi River, making it the perfect location for sundowners, fishing or just relaxing and enjoying the view.
    A large and welcoming swimming pool is set in the centre of our landscaped gardens and has a small plunge pool as well as shallow end, making it safe for children.
    The comfortable chalets are set around sweeping lawns - some on the riverbank, some overlooking a private dam.

    Several of the rooms have their own decks for sunbathing, bird watching, private dinners or just relaxing.

    The in house activities are: Tour of Falls, sunset cruise, daytime cruise, fishing, island picnics, guided birding, guided village walk, guided tour of the town and local markets – depending on the rate basis these are included or excluded. All other activities offered in Livingstone can be pre booked or booked at the lodge.

     

    Day 11 Victoria Falls - Depart
