Being permanent, you are bound to find Hippos cooling off in them. The bird life here is prolific as well; it is a bird watchers haven! Towards mid-day, we will depart from the camp for the observation hill for a picnic lunch. This is a vantage point in Amboseli which overlooks the swamps and deserts in the park. Right in front of the observation lies the majestic snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro.
