Ngong House - Nairobi
Ngong House is a private, serene and luxurious home stay situated in Karen / Langata area of Nairobi.
The lodge overlooks the Ngong Hills, only a few minutes away from what used to be Karen Blixen’s coffee farm. Secluded in 10 acres of private land, it is close to Nairobi National Park, 30 to 40 minutes from Nairobi International Airport, 15 minutes from Wilson airport and 20 minutes from the city center.

Accommodation is mainly in luxurious Tree-houses designed with extreme comfort in mind. Every unit is different in design some have two levels with bedrooms upstairs and living areas on the lower floor raised 15 ft from the ground to gain an uninterrupted view of the Ngong Hills over unspoiled bush.
Ngong House accommodates up to 24 people in 6 tree houses, a Private cottage facing the swimming pool, a Log cabin perfect for families (sleeps up to 6 people) and a Suite in the main house, ideal for elderly and disabled people.

From the kitchen
Dining at Ngong House is a delight. From fresh succulent Molo lamb to lake fish to seafood from the Indian Ocean, our meals are prepared and served accompanied by large varieties of fresh local vegetables. Our Kenyan chefs have been specially trained by several visiting chefs from Belgium.
Breakfast and lunch are served in the garden under a canopy of acacia trees.
Dinner is served in a half open, majestic, thatched rondavel with a grand fireplace, or in another secluded area of the lodge. Every night casual pre dinner drinks and "bitings" are served around the camp fire. A chance to meet other guests and to chat with your host Paul Verleysen.
Around the Lodge
The lodge is very close to the Giraffe Centre, sanctuary to the endangered Rothschild giraffe, where you can enjoy feeding them in natural, peaceful surroundings, the Daphne Sheldrick's Elephant Orphanage,the Nairobi national park and the the Karen Blixen Museum where you can step back into the time of "Out of Africa".
