Mount Kilimanjaro

Kilimanjaro was first mentioned by Ptolemy thousand years ago.
Thousand years later, Arab and Chinese mariners reported a great mountain inland.
It was only in May 1848 that the first European Johannes Rebmann saw the snowy peak on his walk to the Chagga region.

19,340 ft – 5896 m – The roof of Africa crowned by an eternal snow-cap is the world’s highest walkable mountain, accessible without technical skills, anybody with sufficient preparation and ample perseverance stands a chance of success.

Climbing the tallest freestanding mountain on earth is a truly rewarding experience you will never forget. One of the most interesting aspect is the five types of vegetation zone on the mountain, from lush forests on the lower slopes to the crusty lichens on the summit.

We offer different Kilimanjaro options, with longer or shorter versions depending on your preference on Rongai, Machame, Umbwe and Lemosho route

We are member of the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project, a Tanzanian NGO with the mission to improve the working conditions of the porters of Kilimanjaro.
