1000 Hills
The land of 1000 hills is a beautiful country with endless mountains, lakes, forests and is the sanctuary of the endangered mountain gorillas, research and conservation work have been monitored on gorillas since the late 60’s, initiated by the late Dian Fossey.
Parc National des Volcans
Gorillas tracking in the thickly Virunga forest is Rwanda’s major attraction, but Akagera National Park, Nyungwe Forest and the Lake Kivu region offer superb sceneries and wildlife.
