Kruger National Park
Largest park in South Africa, third in Africa (after Tsavo in Kenya and Selous in Tanzania), the area of the Kruger Park (20 000 km ²) is about the size of Ireland. 350 Km (220mi) long from north to south, it streches nearly 60 Km ( 37mi) from east to west, along the Mozambican border. Famous private game reserves are located on the western boundary of the Kruger Park . Some are adjacent to Kruger and do not have restricting fences between the reserve and the park: Sabi Sand, Manyeleti, Timbavati ... Some others are separated by a fence: Thornybush, Kapama. Hluhluwe
This game reserve lies in Kwazulu-Natal north of Durban in a lovely sub-tropical region. The reserve is well known for its population of white rhino, the largest in the world and is also the oldest game reserve in Africa (1895)
