Hi Thierry, The safari was great. The tented camps all had their own uniqueness’s and my son and I enjoyed them all. The host’s at the camps were all very friendly and helpful. A cold beer and a good dinner at the end of the day was greatly appreciated. Box lunches and breakfasts didn’t disappoint either. The tents and facilities were excellent and well appreciated after each day, especially after a week on Kili. Bashay lodge was great as well. “Safi” our guide was very good. We saw a lot of wildlife in all the parks even though the migration was further north in Kenya at the time. He also has a great pair of eyes, and spotted some gems (animals) for us to see and photograph. We did manage to see the big 5. We developed a good relationship with him as the days went on as well. The walking safari, and night safari at Grumeti was a nice touch, as well, the Maasai experience was extremely interesting with our stay at “Olduvai”. My son was also invited to take part in a warrior ritual with the warriors of the village. Him being 21 and very athletic at 200 lbs and 6-2 kept up very well. A proud moment for me, and humbling at the same time. Africa is a very interesting place to visit and experience. With a successful kili climb and a great experience on safari we couldn’t hope for anymore. The package you put together for us was excellent with a great mix of camps and parks. Never a dull moment. I’m really grateful it all came together so very well. I well definitely recommend you to anyone I know who is planning a visit to Tanzania including a return trip of my own in the future. Maybe even kili again? Thanks and job well done!
