We had an incredible time on our safari!  We loved both of our guide/drivers; they were so knowledgeable and friendly and made the safaris even more amazing.  Everything went smoothly – we were picked up at the airport (in the middle of the night!) without any trouble, and saw zebras on the road just outside the airport – a great sign.  The hotels we stayed in were all lovely.  The staff at the hotels were so friendly and kind and made sure we were enjoying ourselves.  The food was great too; even our picky eaters found something they liked at every place.  The fruit was delicious – I’m missing the mangoes, since the ones we get here aren’t nearly as good. We saw so many animals and were really excited to see so many close up.  We were even in the midst of a herd of elephants at a watering hole – that was the most incredible experience to have elephants all around us.  We just sat and watched them all for over an hour.  We all, including our guide, felt like we were having a very special experience.  Then as we drove away we saw a young lion up in a tree – he jumped down right in front of us and only a few feet away, then ran off and hid behind a dirt pile.  We felt totally looked after the entire two weeks – no request was denied, and everyone seemed to want us to have a wonderful time.
