Seeing the migration and Serengeti, and the bio-diversity of Ngorongoro was spectacular and awe-inspiring. Rafting the Zambezi was a real highlight – even if Victoria Falls was a little out of the way and slightly (in comparison to Niagara Falls) underwhelming. Cape Town was stunning and the food was unparalleled – cheap, delicious and diverse. If you are looking to get off the grid, reconnect with life and recharge – head to Mozambique.
