• Day 1: Lima: Arrival day

  For the first day of this exciting journey, on arrival to Lima airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel, where you will spend the night.

• Day 2: Lima – Flight to Cusco – Sacred Valley

  Following breakfast you will be assisted to the Lima Airport for check-in on your flight departure to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be greeted by a representative and transferred to the hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Rest of the day at leisure.

• Day 3: Sacred Valley Private Full Day Tour

  Begin your private full day tour visiting the archaeological complex of Pisac where you will appreciate the magnificent Andean terraces, which were built to expand the agriculture lands. Afterwards visit the artisan market of Pisac a colorful local event that over the centuries has attracted local traders and remote communities from all over the valley, dressed in their traditional and colorful costumes. Enjoy the opportunity to interact with local people, appreciate their craftsmanship, handicrafts and local fruit and vegetable stalls. Following a buffet lunch we will make our way to the town of Ollantaytambo, with its distinct Inca urban planning, visit the religious, astronomical and military complex and observe how the ancient Peruvians moved boulders of nearly 60 metric tons from one mountain to another and across the river and valley.

• Day 4: Sacred Valley – Vista Dome Train to Machu Picchu

  After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to the station for taking the ‘Vista Dome Train’ to Aguas Calientes, a small town located below Machu Picchu. You will enjoy a spectacular train journey crossing valleys, mountains and typical communities. A magical journey never to be forgotten crossing from the sierra to the cloud forests. On arrival, transfer from the train station to the hotel.  Remainder of the day at your leisure to explore or join the activities provided by the hotel. Lunch & Dinner will be served at the hotel restaurant.

• Day 5: Private Tour of Machu Picchu – Huayna Picchu Hike (Optional)

  Today, wake up early in the morning and take the first shuttle bus up to the ruins of Machu Picchu & Huayna Picchu. On arrival you have the option to begin with the hike up Huayna Picchu Mountain which takes about an hour for a person of average fitness level. Afterwards you will commence your private tour of the Citadel where you will appreciate the history of this enigmatic and impressive place. This stone citadel, located 112 km from Cusco, was discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. The citadel was built on a very special spot covered in vegetation between two mountains: the Machu Picchu (old mountain) and Huayna Picchu (young mountain), at the foot of which meanders the Urubamba or Vilcanota River (lower Jungle featuring abundant flora and fauna). Lunch will be served at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge

• Day 6: Machu Picchu – Vista Dome Train to Cusco

  Morning at leisure and option to experience activities included at the lodge. In the afternoon, transfer to the train station to board the ‘Vista Dome Train’ to Poroy Station, Cusco. Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

• Day 7: Private Cusco City Tour & Surrounding Ruins

  Today, you will have the morning free to spend as you wish. In the afternoon, you enjoy a private tour of Cusco’s historical Inca and Spanish colonial monuments, such as the main square, known in Inca times as Huacaypata or the Warrior’s Square. It used to be the scene for many key events in Cusco’s history. After, you will visit the surrounding ruins of the city of Cusco: Sacsayhuaman, this huge Inca fortress is built on three overlapping platforms, each of them over 360 m long. Then we continue, onto Tambomachay, known as the Inca baths. It was apparently a site dedicated to the worship of water and a resting place for the Inca monarch. Return to your hotel.

• Day 8: Luxury Andean Explorer Train (Overnight) to Lake Titicaca

  In the morning, you will be transferred to the Wanchaq Train Station to board the Deluxe Andean Explorer Train. Departure from the station at 11 AM on this overnight scenic route crossing the Andes to Lake Titicaca is an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Today visit Raqchi, and enjoy tea time and the sunset at La Raya. • Day 9: Uros & Taquile Islands Visit (Group Tour)

  Enjoy the splendour of Sunrise at Titicaca Lake and breakfast served on board the train. Afterwards you will begin your full day visit to the floating island, known as “Uros” in Lake Titicaca. The original inhabitants of these floating islands are said to descend from one of the most ancient peoples of the Americas, and still to this day practise their ancient traditions. Their dwellings made of totora reed, are built on the surface of Lake Titicaca. Afterwards, you will make your way to the unique Island of Taquile, where time appears to have stopped. The Mediterranean atmosphere of this place is striking, with its steps of stone and its houses centred around the square. Its indigenous community that lives here has around 350 families that are descendants of the Incas and well-known for their textile activities, such as their beautifully woven chumpis (belts), chullos (caps), and ojotas (and sandals). Lunch will be served at Collata Beach (private location). Enjoy local dance and demonstration of artisan work. In the afternoon return to Titicaca Lake station and enjoy Tea Time before being transferred to your hotel in Puno.

• Day 10: Lake Titicaca - Lima

  After breakfast, transfer from the hotel to the airport for taking your flight back to Lima. Upon arrival you will be met by a representative and transferred to the hotel.  Rest of the day at leisure for your own activities.

• Day 11: Private City Tour of Lima & Larco Museum

  Begin your private guided tour visiting colonial Lima and the Cathedral. Located in the Main Square, it is in the same place as the original building of 1555 and contains the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, who died in 1541. Later, you will visit the Church of San Francisco, its convent, Art Museum, cloisters and catacombs. Afterwards, you will have a panoramic view of the Main Square with the Government Palace, the Municipal Hall, the “Desamparados” Train Station, before driving through the old streets, where you will have a spectacular view of traditional mansions and Moorish style balconies. You will then continue through classic and modern Lima. Visit the Larco Museum, a construction of the Viceroyalty of Peru in the eighteenth century is on the top of a pre-Columbian pyramid of the seventh century. Its galleries are organized chronologically, showing 4000 years of pre-Columbian history of Peru. Enjoy lunch (included) at the Larco Museum Restaurant to feast on typical dishes of the best Peruvian and international cuisine. Return to your hotel.

• Day 12: Lima Airport – International Departure

  Today after an enjoyable breakfast, you will be transferred to the local airport for your flight back to Lima. Upon arrival to Lima, you will make your international flight connection.B
