After breakfast, departure and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will visit the Olduvai Gorge, it was here that Louis and Mary Leakey found early human fossils back in 1959. Enjoy a picnic lunch box. Drive through the Ngorongoro plains and Serengeti Park enjoying a game drive en-route to the Grumeti Game Reserve, a protected and very substantial wildlife reserve which is essentially an extension of the Serengeti. There is a good deal of resident wildlife year round, notably good populations of giraffes, zebras, impalas, elephants and lions. Safari camps here are free to offer night vehicle safari and walking safaris, which are generally not possible inside Serengeti National Park main reserve area and a stay out here at the end of a safari can make for a very nice change of pace. A night game drive & a walking safari are included during your stay at the camp.
