• Day 1 & 2: BATONKA GUEST LODGE, Victoria Falls

  Upon arrival into Victoria Falls Airport, guests will be met and transferred by road to Batonka Guest Lodge,  situated in the quiet residential suburb of Victoria Falls, just 2.2 km from the Victoria Falls Rainforest entrance and 1km from the town centre. The Lodge is set in lush gardens, a tranquil haven away from the bustle of town but within easy walking distance of the main attractions. Batonka Guest Lodge offer 22 air- conditioned rooms, complete with a balcony, overlooking the beautiful garden. All rooms are set on ground level and comfortably furnished with a TV and coffee station.  The main area has the dining facilities, lounge areas, reception and curio shop. The dining facility can be either indoors or on a large spacious and outdoor terrace area overlooking the garden and swimming pool. The restaurants offer a full English breakfast and a choice of wholesome home style cooking for lunch and dinner. There is a comfortable lounge area inside with a fireplace, and an outdoor lounge area is also available for guests.

• DAY 3 & 4: CAMP HWANGE, Hwange National Park, Sinamatella North Area

  After breakfast, guests will be transferred by private road transfer from Victoria Falls to Mbala Boom, where they will be met and transferred by safari vehicle to Camp Hwange, where they will stay for two nights. Camp Hwange is set on its own private concession within one of the most remote parts of Hwange National park in the Sinamatella area, which is known for its rocky, hilly county with thick teak woodland. The small and intimate camp offers canvas and thatch bungalow accommodations of a unique style, all bungalows have en-suite bathroom facilities. The camp offers you the rare opportunity to track Rhino within an Intensive Protection Zone and the terrain here is ideally suited to walking safaris with excellent birding opportunities. Activities on offer are game drives and walking. Game likely to be encountered includes all of the cat family, wild dog, elephants and buffalo in huge numbers and the usual plain’s game. Walks to the natural springs found in this area are a special highlight.
  Overnights Camp Hwange BLD

• DAY 5 & 6: SOMALISA/ACACIA CAMP, HWANGE NATIONAL PARK

  After breakfast, guests will be transferred by safari vehicle from Camp Hwange to Hwange Main Camp, where they will be met and transferred by safari vehicle to Somalisa Camp, where they will stay for two nights. Somalisa Camp is set in the heart of the Hwange National Park which known as the land of the giants for its big elephant herds. Somalisa is an authentic bush camp, a blend of old African charm and elegance, and offers an exclusive safari experience. Its stunning location tucked away on an acacia island along the edge of an ancient seasonal flood plain gives it breathtaking views of the savannah plains of the Kennedy Vlei line. Activities consist of guided walks, game drives and spot lighting as well as game viewing from hides. Wildlife includes elephant, kudu, sable antelope, zebra, wildebeest, gemsbok, the rare and endangered roan antelope, buffalo, giraffe, white rhino, lion, leopard and hyena amongst others. During the rainy season, the Kennedy Vlei is littered with flamboyant colours from the seasonal wild flowers that emerge as the first rains begin and, as the grass dries out, large herds of buffalo, zebra and elephant are in abundance.

• DAY 7: SAFARI ENDS IN VICTORIA FALLS

  Following an early morning breakfast, guests will be transferred by safari vehicle from Somalisa to Hwange Main Camp, where they will be met and transferred by private transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for their onward travel arrangements.  B
